I teamed up with Selwyn, SQ, Dewd, Pwnership, and Hydr. This was a Monday at 4 AM for me! I wasn't expecting this kind of traffic but it really means we're making something happen when we can get this kind of support this early in the week and day. Getting a small operation going together like this really makes my day, so thanks for everyone who made it this morning. The biggest constraint I'm seeing for me mostly is the time. The way I see around this is to divide the time between multiple players, let's say you have twenty four hour period you want to cover, you don't need to be online the whole twenty four hours, but you could effectively divide that window into multiple sessions, for example eight three-hour sessions. In our case of cargo hauling we need to keep the ball rolling. Let's say for starters we'd want to have one fully crewed caterpillar online at any time. When one crew member gets offline another one gets online. This would likely work p...

Final Results for Patch 3.6.0

Image
3.6.1 Just went live today so it's time to publish our results for 3.6.0. Overall we earned over nine and a half million credits and achieved our goal of adding another caterpillar to the fleet, gifted to AstralWizard, before the patch was wiped. Thanks to everyone who participated in trading this patch, and if you weren't able to make it out, there's plenty of opportunity in 3.6.1. Due to the limited time for the patch, and each patch is going to change the number of day we can trade, the total earned is not really that important of a number, instead let's take a look at the average amount that we were able to earn on any given day. We can see that our Averaged Profit per Day was 454,259 UEC. This is the number of credits that we are able to earn every day on average over the course of the patch. If we look at the daily balance details we can see we stared out pretty quickly but did run into a loss early on due to server instability. Then towards the end ...

Nothing but Profit

Timbur's Log,  I teamed up with Pwnership and SQ, and these two were rocking the roles for crew! Between the three of us, we got the time down from 045 to Area 18 to 33 minutes. This is our best time so for, but I think we still have plenty of ways to improve. I'm recommending both Pwnership and SQ to be The Naval Armada Corp members. They'll make solid additions to the crew, that could be working in the cargo department or in another department they are interested in. Today we earned just under 1 million credits worth of profit, we did run into one 30000 server crash, but luckily we had just landed the ship full of Laranite. We also had one player disconnection but we were able to work around that by having a second crew member on board. We did run into a little competition as there was another caterpillar on the same route. Fortunately for us, he didn't have the same capital as we did so he wasn't able to buy out the entire stock of Laranite like we could. I...

Bought a Drake Caterpillar in Game!

Image
Today marks a great achievement, after working together over the past two weeks my crew and I earned enough credits to buy a Drake Caterpillar in game! We couldn't have done it without the countless hours spent with every member of the crew to man the turrets, fly escort, run the convoys, pilot the ships, and plot the routes! This was truly a masterpiece of team effort and cooperation. Great work!
Timbur's Log, There's never a dull moment hauling cargo. I keep telling myself I'll quit once I get bored of it but I have yet to lose interest thanks to events like today. I started off trading, it's peaceful and quiet in the mornings, nothing but the sound of 1.6 million kilograms of Drake Caterpillar rumbling through the dead silence of space, that and the sounds of millions of credits earned. With an easy run to 045 and back I pocketed a nice 300,000 credits.  But great cargo haulers don't haul alone and seeing that no one was online I thought to recruit a player from the general chat. The servers are almost always full, so the best way to make friends it to get online and play the game. Today I had very little luck finding anyone wanting to pilot the caterpillar. Soon enough, a new player requested some help earning credits via a delivery mission. Turns out he's a completely new player, so I had him fly the ship. We ended up with this quick clip of how th...
