No Fly Zones Cause Major Losses
Ready for Action on board the Carrack |
Timbur's Log, Thursday 19 March 2050
Today we ran a few bounty missions, claim jumper missions, and tested out a scramble race, where Time_Lord_Victorious won the title as the fastest man in the verse.

But first let's report what you'll all looking for the numbers. You'll have to apologize for my lack of paperwork, my secretary Rich Banks, was recently shot while boarding the Carrack on the Tumbril Cyclone. What can I say, except crime doesn't pay.
Rich_Banks was recently involved in a major Carrack crash just outside of Lorville. Apparently he had been involved in the usual illegal actively receiving a crime stat. He then had the bright idea to have Time_Lord load up his ship full of cargo from Arial before flying to the high security city of Lorville. The story doesn't end here, as our friends had the clever plan to land near one of the outside gates, committing death by the Hurston guards, but then being revived on board the Carrack. I have to admit it was a good plan but as Time_Lord drove toward the gate, Rich flew the Carrack into the no fly zone destroying the ship and emptying Time_Lord's balance to zero. The balance included several hundred thousand credits I had personally invested.

Reporting losses, I almost forgot to mention that SQ crashed into the no fly zone near Area 18, losing a full load of Titanium.
No fly zones have now racked up to over a million credits worth of damage to our cargo operation over the past few days alone. So I'll be taking up our claims with both Hurston Dynamics and ArcCorp who had better fulfill our demands or we'll take are very profitable commerce operation elsewhere.
Loses to report:
- SQ crashed into the no fly zone near Area 18, losing a full load of Titanium, roughly 500,000 credits lost.
- Rich crashed into the no fly zone near Lorville costing us over 500,000 worth of credits, Laranite and Titanium.
Despite a few losses we're still reporting a continuous profit, and plan to buy another two Drake Caterpillars before the 3.9 patch hits. I'll see you in the verse!
