3.7.1 New Reset Patch is Live

Star Citizen Alpha 3.7.1 LIVE.3367344 went live today shortly after 10:00 AM Pacific time. With a surprise wipe resetting progress our cargo department scrambled to rally cargo haulers and escorts. Earlier this morning we pooled together our credits earned from the last patch to purchase a few ships in game and put them to use finding bounties. Will we be able to climb the profit ladder again this patch and build our commerce fleet?

During our early morning trade run we finished the patch strong, pooling enough funds to buy a second freelancer max in game. In the last minute, we decided to purchase two ships instead, a Sabre and a Freelancer MIS, so that we could focus some time on the game play of pursuing bounties. I successfully was able to test the bed log out and in feature, spawning in my Warden just outside of HUR L1. Spawning near a rest stop might provide a great location to start for hauling cargo as compared to Lorville. Unfortunately, I ran into a caterpillar wreck in quantum space shortly after leaving the space station. To change things up we explored the Hurston cave and had an enjoyable time mining. On the bounty front we relocated near Olisar and put the Lancer and Sabre to the test.

The latest patch went live shortly after and Rich_Banks and AstralWizard scrambled to churn those credits. They lead the charge after the new patch was dropped, starting with 145,000 they had pooled together. After a little time they "came out at just over 600k" and were able to pay out escorts for assistance at securing the routes. The rest of the credits were split between the traders for future investment in cargo runs. Apollo and the Naval Armada corp were able to run escort for Cathcart Intergalactic Services destroying at least one unidentified Drake Cutlass, as well as providing route protection from the various nine tail pirates in the crusader area.

Wizard also reported some bugs, "There are some strange bugs right now. When cargo is purchased, it wasn't represented in physical form. When cargo was sold, vehicle appeared full of physical cargo with the trade console confirming an empty hull and wallet full."

Dangers facing cargo hauling today were:
1.) Client Crashes
2.) NPC ninetail pirates spamming missiles.
3.) Other competing traders
4.) A small chance chance of a Mantis pirate preventing QT.
